While Son Two was at footy training the other day I had a wander around with camera to see if there was anything interesting.

Just across from the footy ground there was an old workshop which is clearly fated for demolition and having the site redeveloped. I am not really extra perceptive, it just said so on the real estate sign. I thought that it was worthy of a few frames.

Many of these industrial buildings in country towns on the fringe of the big cities in Victoria will have been demolished for housing and other development. When it is replaced by a precast concrete walled box not many will really think about it I guess, just yawn at the boring bland sameness and move on.

Today's shots were brought to you by an old Nikkormat FTN which I got for free because it was jammed. Fortunately it was cured fairly easily by removing, resetting and reattaching the shutter cocking rack in the bottom of the camera. I also replaced all the light seals in the back and the mirror dampener so this one is good for quite a few years now I hope. The lens is my 35mm PC Nikkor f2.8.

Back soon with more thoughts and images.
